01

Goods and services in one catalogue

Keep physical products and services side by side, each with its own price and cost. Add an item once and it is available on every quote, invoice, and bill — no retyping descriptions or looking up what you charged last time.

  • Separate views for goods and services
  • Selling price and cost held per item
  • Categories to keep a long catalogue navigable
  • Items drop straight onto documents with their price
02

Stock that moves when you do

Turn on stock tracking for the goods that need it. Buying on a vendor bill raises quantity, selling on an invoice reduces it, and the number you see is the result of real documents rather than a manual count.

  • Per-item stock tracking you switch on where it matters
  • Bills increase stock, sales decrease it
  • Filter your catalogue by in stock, low stock, or out of stock
03

Cost of goods sold, posted for you

When a bill brings in stock-tracked goods, the cost sits in inventory as an asset until you sell it. Non-stock purchases go straight to cost of goods sold. Either way the entry is written for you, so gross margin is a figure you can trust.

  • Stock-tracked purchases held as inventory, not expensed early
  • COGS posts to the ledger as goods are sold
  • Gross profit reflects real product costs
04

Know what is running out

Low stock and out of stock are filters on your catalogue, not a report you have to request. Check before you promise a delivery date, and reorder before a customer finds the gap for you.

05

Costs in the currency you bought in

Import in USD, buy locally in AED or SAR, and sell in whichever currency your customer uses. Staks records each purchase at the rate on its date and converts into your primary currency, so product costs stay honest across suppliers.

Questions

Which plan includes inventory?
Goods and services are available on every plan. Vendor bills and the stock and cost-of-goods-sold tracking that runs through them require the Growth plan ($49/month).
Do I have to track stock on every product?
No. Stock tracking is per item. Turn it on for physical goods you hold and leave it off for services and anything you buy to order.
Can I import my existing product list?
Yes. Send the spreadsheet to the Staks Agent, check the column mapping it proposes, and confirm. Your file supplies the values — nothing is retyped by the model.
Does Staks handle manufacturing or assemblies?
Not today. Staks covers buying, holding, and selling stock. Multi-level assemblies and production runs are outside what it does.
